Your Inbox is where everything you capture goes. It's a catch-all — raw, unsorted, abstract. Things you may get to, and things you may not. Nothing here needs to be done today.
Memento may suggest a list to file something under, a due date, or splitting one capture into two separate items. The suggestion appears under the item, and it is generated entirely on your device.
Swipe right to accept a suggestion. Swipe left to delete. Long-press for everything else — due date, Urgent, Waiting, tags, or moving it to a list.
Once an item has a list, a date, or is marked Waiting, it leaves your Inbox automatically. You never have to clear it by hand.
Note: An empty Inbox means everything has been clarified and organized — not that everything is done.
