Some things aren't yours to do next. Waiting holds them without letting them clutter what is.
Tap the Waiting chip in your Inbox, use the long-press menu, or set it from the item's detail view.
Waiting items live on their own screen. Check it when you're chasing someone, not while you're deciding what to do now.
Note: Waiting items leave your Inbox but keep whatever list they were in.
