How do I add a city?
Open the city list from the bottom bar and search for a city by name. Each saved city gets its own page; swipe left and right to move between them.
How do I set or change my Home city?
In the city list, swipe right on a city (or touch and hold it) and choose Set as Home. The house icon marks your Home. My Location can't be Home, since it moves with you.
How do I flip between Home and Away?
Every tile shows Away (the city on screen) large, with Home underneath. Tap the city name at the top to flip the whole board so Home shows first. Tap again to flip back.
How do I delete or reorder cities and tiles?
In the city list, swipe left on a city to delete it. To remove your Home city, first set another city as Home. On the board, touch and hold a tile and drag to rearrange.
How do I add widgets?
Touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, search for Travel One, and pick a widget such as Weather, Currency, Time, Units, or Tax. Touch and hold a placed widget and choose Edit Widget to pick its city.
Why does the app ask for my location?
Location is optional. With “While Using the App” access, the first page shows the city you're in as My Location. Without it, the app works the same with the cities you add. Change it in Settings › Privacy & Security › Location Services › Travel One.
Where does the data come from?
Weather is from Apple Weather (WeatherKit). Exchange rates are mid-market reference rates from Frankfurter. Plug types, voltage, and other essentials are built into the app, based on IEC world plug data. Time zones and units are calculated on your device.
Why are weather or rates out of date?
The app saves the latest data so it works offline, and shows when it was last updated. It refreshes when you open a page and its data is old. Pull down on the board to refresh now. Exchange rates are published once per working day, so they won't change minute to minute and may not match what a bank or card charges.
Is the tax info exact?
No. Tax shows typical sales tax or VAT rates as a guide. City or regional taxes and exemptions may apply.
Does the app collect my data?
No. No accounts, analytics, ads, or tracking. See the Privacy Policy.
